Dear Sir or Madam:

Entergy hereby withdraws the referenced request for temporary relaxation of the requirements of the NRC Order for Compensatory Measures Related to Fitness-for-Duty Enhancements Applicable to Nuclear Facility Security Force Personnel (EA-03-038, dated April 29, 2003). The relaxation is not needed since the potential labor disruption was avoided by ratification of a new Bargaining Unit contract on July 15, 2004. Furthermore, although measures were taken to enhance security in preparation for a labor disruption, current estimates indicate that Security group average work hours will remain in compliance with the Order.

There are no commitments contained in this letter.
