Continued supply of reliable and affordable energy for our facility, the Neenah Technical Center, is critical for the operation of this facility for years to come. The Neenah Technical Center (NTC) is the North America packaging research facility for Alcan Packaging (formerly Pechiney Plastic Packaging) employing about 120 people in the Neenah area. The NTC also supports manufacturing plants in Neenah, Menasha, and Boscobel in Wisconsin as well as numerous production locations throughout the country. Energy use by our research center and manufacturing plants in Wisconsin is only expected to increase as the Alcan packaging business continues to expand nationally and globally. Continued operation of the Point Beach plant is key to providing an overall climate of economic health and growth in the local area as well as throughout the state. Sincerely, John H.
