Dear Mr. Crawford:
MONITORING REPORT POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT Permit # 436034500-POI requires the Company to submit a summary of the results of monitoring required by this permit by July 31 for the time period from January 1 through June 30 of the current year. The enclosed table, entitled "Parameters That Are Recorded Intermittently," shows a summary of the parameters monitored.
We did not operate the combustion turbine (CI), permit designation P01, concurrently with any of the emergency diesel generators -permit designations P02, P03, P04, and P05 - during the reporting time.
The combustion turbine is fired with a #1 and #2 fuel oil blend. The sulfur content of that fuel is
< 0.178%. The emergency diesel generators (P02, P03, P04 and P05) are fired with a low sulfur,
- 2 fuel oil. The sulfur content of that fuel is < 0.287%.
We analyze the sulfur content in each oil delivery following either ASTM DI 552-95 or ASTM D2622-98 procedures. We maintain records of each analysis at the plant.
The CT (P01) and the emergency diesel generators (permit designations P04 and P05) were operated less than 228.83 and 20.67 hours7.75463e-4 days
0.0186 hours
1.107804e-4 weeks
2.54935e-5 months
per month, on 12-month rolling average basis, respectively.
