FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) FINAL EXERCISE REPORT FOR THE CALVERT CLIFFS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT POST-PLUME PHASE EXERCISE
Dear Mr. Vanderheyden:
Dr. Robert Bores, State Liaison Officer, NRC Region I, received a letter dated May 17, 2004 from Darrell Hammonds, Regions Assistance Committee Chairperson, FEMA Region III, which forwarded the subject report. The exercise was conducted on October 22-24 and October 28-30, 2003.
A copy of this report will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room). The package containing this report has been given the accession number of ML041540166. Please access this report for details concerning the exercises.
No Deficiencies were identified during the exercise. There were seven Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) identified as a result of this exercise. Please provide assistance to offsite officials as they address and resolve the identified items on a timely basis.
