DUANE ARNOLD ENERGY CENTER (DAEC) SITE MANAGEMENT CHANGES
Subject:
DAEC recently announced that the previous Plant Manager, John Bjorseth, has assumed duties in the newly established position of Site Director. The Engineering Director, Dean Curtland, has replaced Mr. Bjorseth as Plant Manager. Steve Haller, Systems Engineering Manager, will replace Mr. Curtland in the role of acting Engineering Director until a permanent Engineering Director is named in the future.
The Site Director position was created by Nuclear Management Corporation (NMC) to concentrate on site-specific issues and oversight of plant operations. Direct reports to the Site Director include the Plant Manager, Training Manager, Regulatory Affairs Manager, Manager of Projects, and Engineering Director. Mark Peifer, Site Vice President, will shift focus to fleet operations and long-term planning.
