RESCHEDULING OF VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT - TRIENNIAL
FIRE PROTECTION BASELINE INSPECTION - NRC INSPECTION REPORT
05000424/20040007 AND 05000425/20040007
Dear Mr. Gasser:
The purpose of this letter is to notify you that the onsite inspection dates for the triennial fire
protection baseline inspection of Units 1 and 2 at the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant have
been rescheduled for August 9 - 13 and August 23 - 27, 2004. These dates were confirmed
with Mr. Kenneth Lowery of your staff during a phone call on May 19, 2004. The inspection
team will be led by Mr. Norman Merriweather, Senior Reactor Inspector, of the Region II Office.
The inspection team composition and inspection objectives as well as requests for documents
will remain the same as that discussed in our previous letter of May 07, 2004.
Your cooperation and support during this inspection will be appreciated. If you have questions
concerning this inspection please contact Mr. Merriweather at (404) 562-4627, or me at

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be
available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the
