I am forwarding the Tribal Historic Preservation Office comments to you on the above subject; The Tribal Environmental & Natural Resources Office wishes to make the following commet:
z We note that Limestone County is not evaluated as having bad air quality and that the annual quantity of emissions released into the atmosphere is normal for a nuclear plant. In an ideal situation it would not be necessary for us to make comment on air quality, however the air quality situation is far from ideal in the Great Smoky Mountains.
Because air flows from Alabama frequently move towards our mountains we would like to encourage the exploration of reducing emissions at Browns Ferry.
