FORTHCOMING MEETING BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) STAFF AND SOUTHERN NUCLEAR OPERATING COMPANY (SNC) TO DISCUSS THE STAFFS REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (RAIs) ON LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION (LRA) FOR JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 DATE & TIME: Monday, June 7, 2004 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room O-12B4 Rockville, Maryland 20852 PURPOSE: The purpose of the meeting is for SNC (the applicant) and the NRC staff to clarify and discuss the RAIs and proposed resolutions associated with the Farley LRA. Information on the license renewal process is available at http://www.nrc.gov/reactors/operating/licensing/renewal.html the NRC web page.

CATEGORY 1:* This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
