FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) FINAL EXERCISE REPORT FOR THE MARCH 4, 2003, PLUME EXPOSURE PATHWAY EXERCISE FOR THE R. E. GINNA NUCLEAR POWER STATION
Dear Dr. Mecredy:
Enclosed is a letter from Mr. Joseph F. Picciano, Acting Regional Director, FEMA Region II, to Mr. Hubert J. Miller, Region Director, NRC Region I, which forwards the Final Exercise Report for the March 4, 2003, plume exposure pathway exercise.
No Deficiencies were identified during this exercise. However, six Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCAs) were identified. Please assist offsite officials in addressing these issues. Your continued assistance to offsite agencies is appreciated as they prepare for and practice implementation of their emergency plans.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
