Committed to Nuclear Excellence Nuclear Management Company, LLC Withhold From Public Disclosure Under 10 CFR §2.390 May 07, 2004 10 CFR 2.390 U S Nuclear Regulatory Commission ATTN: Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555-0001 Request For Closed Meeting with USNRC to Discuss NMC Refuelinq Plans By letter dated April 30, 2004, Nuclear Management Company, LLC, (NMC) submitted a request for a closed (proprietary) meeting with the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to discuss certain NMC initiatives. Preliminary proprietary and non-proprietary presentations were enclosed. As a result of a subsequent review of the preliminary proprietary and non-proprietary slides, we have determined that one of the preliminary non-proprietary slides should also be marked as proprietary (commercial information) and withheld from public disclosure. Specifically, slide 3 in the non-proprietary enclosure (Enclosure 3) to NMC's April 30, 2004, letter should be withheld from public disclosure.

Please destroy the unmarked slide 3 from Enclosure 3 that should have been marked as proprietary. Attached to this letter is NMC's integrated preliminary presentation containing both the proprietary and non-proprietary slides; the proprietary slides should be withheld from public disclosure under 10 CFR §2.390 - Commercial Information.

As requested in the April 30, 2004, letter, NMC would like to meet with the NRC staff in a closed forum to discuss the initiatives. In accordance with 10 CFR §2.390, NMC requests the proprietary slides in the attachment be withheld from public disclosure since public disclosure of the information is likely to cause substantial financial harm to the competitive position of NMC. This letter contains no new commitments and no revisions to existing commitments.
