OF MEETING BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) STAFF AND NUCLEAR MANAGEMENT COMPANY, LLC REPRESENTATIVES TO DISCUSS THE POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION On March 9, 2004, the NRC staff met with members of Nuclear Management Company (NMC),
LLC, (the applicant) in a public meeting to discuss the license renewal application (LRA) for the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2. The application was submitted by letter dated February 25, 2004. The list of meeting attendees is provided in Enclosure 1. The meeting agenda is provided in Enclosure 2. A copy of the slides used by the applicant is provided in.
Representatives of the NMC provided an overview of the content of the Point Beach LRA. They explained the methodology used in determining consistency with NUREG-1801, Generic Aging Lessons Learned (GALL) Report. Subsequent to the public meeting, the applicant provided a detailed Table of Applicant Aging Management Programs and Aging Management Evaluations (Enclosure 4).
