 NRC will address the Point Beach performance issues identified in the annual assessment letter

 Point Beach will respond to the information in the letter and inform the NRC of new or existing programs to maintain or improve their performance

 Both Units were in the Multiple/Repetitive Degraded Cornerstone Column of the Action Matrix for 2003 because of the Red inspection finding from 2002 for the Auxiliary Feedwater System and the Yellow/Red inspection finding from 2003 for the Auxiliary Feedwater System

 95003 supplemental inspection identified 10 Green Non-Cited Violations, 1 Severity Level IV Non-Cited Violation, 1 Severity Level III Cited Violation, and 1 Unresolved Item

 NMC operated Point Beach Units 1 & 2 in a manner that preserved public health and safety

 All cornerstone objectives were met with a Red finding for both Units and a Yellow finding for Unit 1 and a Red finding for Unit 2 (AFW)

 NRC plans expanded baseline inspections and Confirmatory Action Letter follow-up inspections at Point Beach for the remainder of the assessment period
