DearMs. Cyr:

t l I '.,r On April 20, 2004 the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors will be hearing an appeal of the Pladinioig bbib'n6hi' dekihi& to grant Pacific Gas and Electric Company a Coastal Ievelopmbiit Permit'(CIYP) to construct an Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Facility (ISFSI) at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant. We expect several members from the community to be in attendance with questions about the proposed facility. Since you have granted the plant a license for this facility it would be extremely helpful to the Board if a representative from the NRC was in attenddance and available to answer questions.

If you have any concerns regarding this request please don't hesitate to call me at (805)781-5450.

Sincerely, iOVITT Chafrperson f
