To be more consistent with the definitions in NRC Generic Letter 97-02 "Revised Contents of the Monthly Operating Report", SSES is making the following methodology change to Operating Status report. The Net Electrical Generation values that result in a less than Zero total will, from January 2004 forward, be reported as Zero.
However, the cumulative total for prior years will not be adjusted to conform to the current definition of Net Electrical Energy Generated. The new values listed below are valid for the February 2004 report to keep the Yr.-to-Date column correct, and continue with the "Cumulative" column. The following values have been input to the Consolidated Data Entry database for the I' quarter 2004 by SSES station personnel.

End-Of-Cycle coastdown began January 1,2004, and continued until February 28,2004 when the Unit 1-13 Refueling Outage commenced. The breaker was opened at 00:01 on February 28. The Refueling Outage end date is currently planned for late April.
