MAINTENANCE OF REFERENCE MATERIAL AT THE LESTER PUBLIC LIBRARY FOR THE POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION
Dear Mr. Niederlander:
Thank you for creating a file drawer to maintain documents related to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs review of the application submitted by Nuclear Management Company, LLC (NMC), for license renewal of the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 for an additional 20 years.
Over the next two-year review period, the volume of documents and related correspondence is expected to fill a 3-foot drawer. The application was delivered to you by the NRCs Senior Resident Inspector for the Point Beach Nuclear Plant. An electronic version of the license renewal application is also available at the NRCs Public Electronic Reading Room, accessible through the NRCs home page at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
We appreciate your willingness to assist the public in participating in the license renewal application process. We will place the Lester Public Library on our distribution list for documents and notices related to the NMCs application for license renewal at Point Beach.
