Dear Mr. Diaz,
I have recently heard about requests of the operators to uprate the output of the Yankee Vermont nuclear power plant in Vernon, VT.
Give the age and questionable conditions at this plant, this seems like a very dubious idea -with possible damaging effects to the citizens, farmers, and enviroment.
Therefore I would suggest that there be an independent safety analysis done of the plant before any such uprate is even considered.
