SUBJECT:

CALVERT CLIFFS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 -

CORRECTION TO AMENDMENT NO. 262 AND 239 (TAC NOS. MB8419 AND MB8420)

Dear Mr. Vanderheyden:

On March 2, 2004, the Commission issued Amendment No. 262 to Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-63 and Amendment No. 239 to Renewed Facility Operating License No.

DPR-69 for the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2. These amendments revised the Technical Specifications (TS) by eliminating the requirements associated with hydrogen recombiners and hydrogen monitors. The changes support implementation of a revision to 10 CFR 50.44, Standards for Combustible Gas Control System in Light-Water-Cooled Power Reactors.

The TS Table of Contents, page iii, issued with the subject amendments inadvertently contained an error in the omission of the identification of pages 3.8.8 and 3.8.9. Enclosed is the corrected TS page for these amendments.

The Commission regrets any inconvenience that this administrative error may have caused. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact me at (301) 415-1441.

Sincerely,

/RA/

Guy S. Vissing, Senior Project Manager, Section 1 Project Directorate I Division of Licensing Project Management Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation Docket Nos. 50-317 amd 50-318
