CORRECTION OF LICENSE AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GRAND GULF NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT 1 (GGNS) (TAC NO. MC1750)
Dear Mr. Williams:
The purpose of this letter is to provide you with the results of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review of the license and technical specifications for the subject plant.
The NRC is conducting a comparison of its license authority files to licensees records to ensure errors in licenses and technical specifications are identified and corrected for all units. I have completed the comparison of the NRCs license authority file and your records to determine whether corrections were necessary. The enclosures provide the information necessary to update your records for GGNS so that the license and technical specifications accurately capture the NRC-approved amendments or correction letters affecting these documents. I have discussed the corrections that are necessary with Ron Byrd of your staff.
The review used the following versions:
1)
The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) copy provided by OCIO with Amendment No. 154" shown in paragraph 2.C.(2) of the Facility Operating License (FOL),
2)
The Project Managers (PMs) copy with Amendment No. 163" shown in paragraph 2.C.(2) of the FOL, and 3)
GGNS FOL on the CD-ROM from Entergy Operations Inc, dated December 16, 2003, showing Amendment No. 159" in paragraph 2.C.(2) of the FOL.
The changes associated with the license amendments subsequent to the issuance of the Amendment No. 159 were not present in your CD-ROM. Therefore, the enclosures show the findings of the comparison up to Amendment No. 154. The corrections identified in the enclosures are for the amendments prior to Amendment No. 154. We assume that your copies have been updated to reflect the changes subsequent to the issuance of Amendment No. 154.

Enclosure 2 contains the cover pages of the letters transmitting the license amendments and correction letters.
