Unit 1 began the month of February 2004 at 99.3% of rated thermal power (RTP). Throughout the month, unless specified below, when the unit operated less than 100% RTP, it was due to end-of-cycle coastdown.

On February 3d at 1201 hours0.0139 days <br />0.334 hours <br />0.00199 weeks <br />4.569805e-4 months <br />, reactor power was reduced from 98.4% RTP to 94.6% RTP to remove the 5B feedwater heater from service. At 1427 hours0.0165 days <br />0.396 hours <br />0.00236 weeks <br />5.429735e-4 months <br />, reactor power was restored to 99.6% RTP.

On February 18 at 2208 hours0.0256 days <br />0.613 hours <br />0.00365 weeks <br />8.40144e-4 months <br />, reactor power was reduced from 94.5% RTP to 60.9% RTP to remove the 5C feedwater heater and 1A reactor feed pump from service, and power suppression testing.

Unit 1 ended the month of February 2004 at 90.6% RTP.
