FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY DEFICIENCY CLEARED DURING THE MARCH 2, 2004, REMEDIAL EXERCISE

Dear Mr. Ridenoure:

The purpose of this letter is to thank you and your staff for working with the appropriate offsite governmental agencies to ensure a timely resolution of the two deficiencies that were identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Region VII, during evaluation of the November 18, 2003, emergency preparedness exercise at the Fort Calhoun Station. The deficiencies were re-evaluated as closed during a March 2, 2004, redemonstration, and was documented in the Federal Emergency Management Agency exercise report for Fort Calhoun Station, dated March 9, 2004.
