Docket No. 50-186 University of Missouri - Columbia Research Reactor Amended Facility License R-103 Written communication specified in 10 CFR 50.4(b)(5) regarding changes to the Missouri University Research Reactor Emergency Plan without prior Commission approval pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(q)
Attached are the March 19, 2004, changes to the Missouri University Research Reactor (MURR) Emergency Plan and the justification for each change. Additionally, the revised pages to the Emergency Plan are included to help explain the changes.
Changes to the MURR Emergency Plan were performed primarily for two reasons:
- 1. Updating the Emergency Plan Implementing Procedure reference numbers; and
- 2. Minor editorial changes.
As part of the ongoing effort to improve MURR procedures in accordance with the MURR Procedures Writer's Guide, the Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures have been revised and reformatted and new procedure reference numbers have been assigned to them. These changes do not decrease the effectiveness of the MURR Emergency Plan and are being made without prior Commission approval pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(q).
