It is my understanding that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission is planning to hold a meeting with Entergy Nuclear Northeast to discuss their proposed dry cask storage system for the Indian Point nuclear power plant and that the meeting will be held in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
As this is a public meeting and will be the first opportunity for residents and elected officials to obtain information about Entergy's proposal, it is important that it be held in the community that is host to the plant.
It seems to be necessary to hold this hearing in Westchester County. I look forward to hearing from you concerning the date and location of this important meeting.
