Upon review of the information recenily forwarded by your office, the Alabama Historical Commission has detennined that we pee wiMh the author's fndings. The propt is cleared for project acivities to resume with the exceqion of that area contait'S arcbacologicaJ site 1 U 535.

As this site is potentially eligble for the National Registr, we request that the site be avoided. If avoidance is riot feasible, Phase 11 testing proposals should be developed and forward to our office for review and approval prior to project activities commencing. Also, the Cox cemetezy should be avoided.
