Dear Mr. Stinson:

By letter dated December 3, 2003, as supplemented by letter dated January 30, 2004, you applied for relaxation of the requirements of Order EA-03-009 for Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant, Unit 2, Facility Operating License No. NPF-8. The proposed relaxation would have allowed a one time extension (by one refueling outage) of the non-visual, non-destructive examination of the reactor pressure vessel head penetration nozzles. Subsequently, by letter dated March 5, 2004, you withdrew the relaxation request.

Because of your withdrawal, the NRC staff will terminate the review of the relaxation request and its associated proprietary information.
