Suppliemiit to Fourth-Interval Inservice Inspection (ISI) Program Plan -
Withdrawal of Relier Rcquest PT-I On April 1, 2003, Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station (VY) submitted to the NRC a revised Inservice Inspection (ISI) Program' as required by I0CFR50.55a(a)(3)(i).
The subject submittal contained a number of relief requests for NRC review and approval. One of those relief requests, "PT-I" regarding the use of a system leakage test in lieu of the Class 3 'Interval' hydrostatic test, requested an alternative similar to Code Case N-498-1. Subsequent to that submittal, the NRC isstied Revision 13 to Regulatory Guide 1.1472 which identified that Code Case N-498-4 had been conditionally accepted for use. VY has reviewed Code Case N-498-4 and the conditions placed upon its acceptability and has determined that tile use of this code case is acceptable. Accordingly, VY hereby withdrawals Relief Request PT-I and will adopt tile conditionally approved Code Case N-498-4 into our Pressure Test program.
The attachment identifies that there are no commitments contained within this letter.
