Proposal submitted in response to the Commission's regulation requiring conversion of the OSTR from high enriched uranium (UEU)fuel to low enriched uranium (LEU)

Gentlemen:

In accordance with the Commission's regulation contained in 10 CFR OREGON 50.64(c)(2)(ii), the Oregon State University Radiation Center has not been notified STATE of any change in funding status. Therefore, Federal Government funding for UNIVERSITY conversion of the OSTR from HEU to LEU cannot be certified and therefore no further action towards conversion will be taken at this time.
