CORRECTION OF LICENSE AUTHORITY FILES FOR SOUTH TEXAS PROJECT, UNITS 1 AND 2 The purpose of this memorandum is to provide you with the information necessary to update the license authority files for South Texas (STP) Units 1 and 2 to accurately capture the license and technical specification changes made to these documents. I have completed the review of the license authority files for STP Units 1 and 2, comparing the two NRC copies and the licensees records to determine corrections that are necessary. Attachment 1 provides the change that is needed to the copy of the license authority files maintained by your staff for its use. The changes associated with STP license amendments 154 and 142 (issued on July 21, 2003) and subsequent license amendments were not present in the copy of the license authority files. We assume that the copies which you provided were made prior to the issuance of these amendments.
Included in the attachment is a copy of (1) the coverpage of the letter transmitting the license amendment; (2) the insert/remove instruction for incorporating the correct page; and (3) a correct technical specification page. Please follow the instructions of the insert/remove page when incorporating these corrections. I can be contacted at 301-415-1439 if you have any questions.
