On December 31', 2003, Chuck Bassett filled the position of Facilities Maintenance & Quality Assurance.
To support this, I was assigned responsibility for the remainder of the Regulatory Compliance Function.
Formal turnover of the Radiation Safety and Criticality Safety Functions is to occur on January 30'. These positions are referenced in the technical specifications of the above referenced licenses as follows License Facilities Maintenance & Quality Assurance Regulatory Compliance & EHS TR-1 (GETR) Level 2- Facility Manager Radiation Safety (Includes Level 3- Facility Supervisor)
DR-10 (EVESR) & References to supervision at various levels References to safety or licensing DPR-1 (VBWR) functions The second organizational change replaces Louis Quintana with Scott Bump as the Site Manager, effective February 23td. Mr. Bump will take on Mr. Quintana's responsibilities for the Vallecitos Nuclear Center Operations. Mr. Bump has been designated by the General Managers of the General Electric divisions represented at VNC as the manager responsible for the nuclear safety, industrial safety and environmental compliance for the entire site. This position is identified specifically in TR-1 License as Level I Organization Head.
Ref. 1, requires a report within 30 days per Tech Spec 6.6.2(2) for Level I and Level 2 organizational changes, Refs. 2 and 3 do not contain specific requirements of this nature, but are reported here for completeness.
