Completion of Compensatory Measures for Order EA-02-261 Related to Access Authorization for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit I Ladies and Gentlemen:
On January 27, 2003, the FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) submitted a response (Serial Letter Number 2S32) to the NRC Order (EA-02-261) for Compensatory Measures Related to Access Authorization for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNPS),
issued on January 7, 2003. A supplemental response to address actions taken in response to the Order was provided on July 7, 2003 (Serial Letter Number 2971) to clarify and further define the information previously submitted.
This letter provides notification that actions taken by the DBNPS to achieve full compliance with the requirements of Attachment 2 of the NRC Order, as described in the DBNPS submittals identified above have been completed.
