FORTHCOMING PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION FOR THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) STAFF TO DESCRIBE THE LICENSE RENEWAL PROCESS DATE & TIME: Tuesday, February 17, 2004 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

LOCATION: Waterford Town Hall Auditorium 15 Rope Ferry Road Waterford, Connecticut 06385 PURPOSE: The NRC received an application from Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc.

dated January 20, 2004 for the renewal of the operating licenses for the Millstone Power Station, Units 2 and 3. The purpose of the meeting is for the NRC staff to provide information describing the license renewal process and how the public can participate. The agenda for the meeting is attached.

Information on the license renewal process is available on the NRC web page at http://www.nrc.gov/reactors/operating/licensing/renewal.html.

CATEGORY 3:* This is a Category 3 Meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting by providing comments and asking questions throughout the meeting.

ACCOMMODATIONS: If special equipment or accommodations are needed to attend or present information at the public meeting, then Mr. Eads will need to be contacted no later than February 12, 2004, to provide the NRC staff adequate notice to determine whether the request can be accommodated.
