FORTHCOMING PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION FOR THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) STAFF TO DESCRIBE ITS LICENSE RENEWAL PROCESS DATE & TIME:
Thursday, February 5, 2004 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
LOCATION:
Calhoun Community College Aerospace Technology Building Auditorium 6250 US Highway 31 North Decatur, Alabama 35671 PURPOSE:
The NRC received an application from the Tennessee Valley Authority dated December 31, 2003 for the renewal of the operating licenses for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Units 1, 2 and 3. The purpose of the meeting is for the NRC staff to provide information describing the license renewal process and how the public can participate. The agenda for the meeting is attached.
Information on the license renewal process is available on the NRC web page at http://www.nrc.gov.

This is a Category 3 Meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting by providing comments and asking questions throughout the meeting.
