Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Station, Physical Security Plan -Revision 46 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), "Conditions of licenses," AmerGen Energy Company, LLC, is submitting changes to the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Station Physical Security Plan. In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(4), "Security plan and related submittals," attached are the original and three (3) copies of Revision 46.
Revision 46 includes the following changes:
The Physical Security Plan has been revised to incorporate the implementation of a biometrics hand-geometry system. This modification eliminates the need to issue temporary protected area and/or owner controlled area badges.
Clarification regarding the retention schedule for local law enforcement letters of agreement.
Administrative changes related to a change in a station department's name.
As required by 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), we have concluded that these changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Station Physical Security Plan.
The changes to the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Station Physical Security Plan were implemented on October 22, 2003. In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), these changes shall be reported within 60 days of implementation (i.e., by December 21, 2003).
