PUT-IN-BAY TOWNSHIP RESOLUTION 11292993 01 t

The Board of Trustees of Put-in-Bay Township, in Ottawa County, Ohio met in Special session on the 20th day of November, 2003 at the Office of the Township Clerk with the following members present.

Mr. Matt Miller - PRESENT Mr. Carley Tobias - PRESENT Mr. Dale Burris - PRESENT Mr. Burris-Moved the adoption of the foll.owing Resolution; BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of Put-in-Bay Township, Ottawa County, Ohio; Whereas, the Nuclear regulatory Commission 0350 process to evaluate the readiness for restart has been a good process and will continue to effectively evaluate Davis-Besse after restart, and Whereas, the plant ccndition is better than it has ever been, and Whereas, the employees are working hard to make sure this never happens again, and Whereas, the continue6 oversight after restart by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and their willingness to involve and keep the County involved is definitely important, and Whereas, FENCO agreeing to a closer working relationship with Ottawa County through County Administrator Jere Witt being appointed to the Restart Overview Panel and the Company Nuclear Review Board as an independent oversight, now

Therefore Be It Resolved that Put-in-Bay Township Board of Trustees, Ottawa County, Ohio supports and encourages the safe restart of Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant.

Mr. Miller Seconded the Resolution and the roll being called upon its adoption, the vote resulted as follows; Mr, Tobias - YES Mr, Burris - YES Mr. Miller - YES-Adopted this 20th day November of 2003 Clerk, Board of Township Trustees

I, Richard J Rothert Jr., Clerk of the Board of Township Trustees of Put-in-Bay Township, in Ottawa County Ohio, and in whose custody the Files, Journals and Records of said Board are required by the Laws of the State of Ohio to kept, do certify that the foregoing Resolution for the Startup of the Davis Resse Nuclear Power Plant is taken and copied from the original Resolution now on file with said Board, that the foregoing Resolution has been compared with said original and that the same is true and correct copy therefore.
