REGULATORY CONFERENCE TO DISCUSS PRELIMINARY WHITE INSPECTION FINDING AT THE PERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (INSPECTION REPORT 50-440/03-06(DRP)
Dear Mr. Kanda:
This letter confirms the discussion between members of our staffs to have a Regulatory Conference at 2:00 p.m. on December 17, 2003, at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region III office at 801 Warrenville Road, Suite 255, in Lisle, Illinois. The Conference is open to the public and there will be an opportunity for the public to speak with NRC representatives before the meeting is adjourned.
The purpose of the Regulatory Conference is for you to provide your perspective on the significance of the preliminary White inspection finding related to the failure to implement adequate procedures for the Division I emergency service water (ESW) pump. The preliminary White inspection finding is discussed in Inspection Report 50-440/03-06(DRP), issued on October 30, 2003.
