LASALLE COUNTY STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 - REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RE: CORE OPERATING LIMITS REPORT (TAC NOS. MB9888 AND MB9889)
Dear Mr. Skolds:
By letter dated July 1, 2003, you submitted a request for amendment to Technical Specifications (TS) related to TS Section 5.6.5, "Core Operating Limits Report." This submittal contained Global Nuclear Fuel proprietary report NEDC-33106P, "GEXL97 Correlation for ATRIUM-10 Fuel," Revision 1, dated June 2003. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has performed an initial review of your request for NRC approval of this report and finds that it needs additional information to complete its review.
Therefore, it is requested that you respond to the enclosed request for additional information by November 28, 2003, for the NRC staff to expedite its review. The response date was agreed upon by members of your staff via telephone conference on October 30, 2003. The enclosed questions are unchanged from those sent by e-mail to a member of your staff on October 20, 2003.
