Paragraph for Rill Allegation Inspection Request To support Allegation Rlll-2002-A-0005, Allegation 1 and 8 (assigned to NMSS/SFPO) Region IlIl is requested to perform an inspection at CornEd, Dresden and determine the ASME code and licensee procedure requirements for reviewing and approving Supplier Deviation Requests (SDRs), and Nonconformance reports (NCRs). Please determine the obligations of the cask owner to review and approve use-as-is, and repair dispositions. Please determine if ComEd is and was complying with the requirements during the period of the allegations(1999-present). The attached Allegation Briefing Sheet provides supporting details.
We note that ASME NCA 3260, 3556, 3554, and 9200 appear to require owner review (in some form) of nonconformances dispositioned as use-as-is, repair or rework.
