On Thursday, October 29, 2003, Mr. Fred Cayia, the Site Vice-President, announced the appointment of Mr. Jim McCarthy to the new position of Director of Site Operations. In this position, Mr. McCarthy will have the plant manager, training manager, engineering director, and the regulatory affairs manager reporting to him. Mr. McCarthy will also function as the plant manager until a permanent replacement is chosen. Mr. McCarthy is currently the plant manager at Kewaunee and has previous experience at Surry and Susquehanna.
