Dear Chairman Diaz:
The purpose of my writing is to inform you of a change in management at the TXU Comanche Peak plant.
After more than 16 years of service, Mr. Lance Terry, TXU Principal Nuclear Officer, has elected to retire. Lance will remain in the area and has agreed to continue to be available to TXU as a consultant for the next two years.
Mr. Mike Blevins has been selected to assume the position and responsibilities of Principal Nuclear Officer effective October 1. Mike brings a wealth of knowledge to this position and his background provides the experience desired for such responsibility. During the last 25 years of his career Mike has held various positions at Comanche Peak, where he received his Senior Reactor Operation Certification in 1982. Mike received his BSEE from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1973.
We at TXU are pleased to have an individual with this level of expertise overseeing our Comanche Peak operations.
