- POST-REFUELING OUTAGE MEETING, VIRGIL C. SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION - DOCKET NO. 50-395
Dear Mr. Byrne:
This refers to the meeting conducted at your request at our office in Atlanta, Georgia on September 18, 2003. The purpose of the meeting was for your staff to discuss major activities for the upcoming refuel outage, current issues, and management changes at the Virgil C.
Summer Nuclear Station. A list of attendees and presentation handouts are enclosed.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial in that, your staff presented an informational overview of activities to be performed during the Refueling Outage 14 including major modifications on the Residual Heat Removal System and planned Inservice Inspection Activities to be conducted at the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room.
