October 20, 2003 The Honorable John F. Tierney United States House of Representatives Washington, DC 20515
Dear Congressman Tierney:
On behalf of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), I am responding to your letter of September 17, 2003, concerning the C-10 Research & Education Foundation and questions they had raised regarding tube degradation at Seabrook Station. The NRC received letters dated June 30, 2003, and August 27, 2003, from the C-10 Research & Education Foundation.
These letters discussed complex issues and requested detailed information. The NRC staff responded to both letters on September 25, 2003. As you requested I have enclosed copies of the staffs responses for your information.
If you have any additional questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
/RA/
Nils J. Diaz
