COMMENTS ON PROPOSED RULE ON RISK-INFORMED CATEGORIZATION AND TREATMENT OF STRUCTURES, SYSTEMS, AND COMPONENTS FOR NUCLEAR POWER REACTORS (RIN 3150 - AG42)

Gentlemen:

The Strategic Teaming and Resource Sharing (STARS)' nuclear power plants are hereby endorsing the comments submitted by the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) in a letter from Anthony R. Pietrangelo to the NRC dated August 22, 2003, on a proposed rule on "Risk-Informed Categorization and Treatment of Structures, Systems, and Components for Nuclear Power Reactors." The STARS plants also provided a separate set of comments in STARS letter STARS-03017 dated August 11, 2003.
