SUMMARY

The unit operated in Mode 1, at or near 100% power from August 1, 2003, until 1558, August 18, when an automatic reactor shutdown occurred. The shutdown was due to a low-low steam generator level trip that resulted from the closure of the "B" main feedwater Isolation valve. All plant systems and equipment responded as designed. The unit returned to criticality at 0359, August 20, and synchronized to the grid at 1107.

At 0250, August 21, the unit reached 100 percent power and remained at or near 100 percent power for the remainder of the month.
