Dear Ms. Gibson:
This letter is in response to your request dated April 25,2003, concerning the proposed restart of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant in the State of Ohio.
The Regional Assistance Committee Chair of F E U Region V has provided the enclosed document reflecting Region V's assessment of the State of Ohio that there are no current offsite emergency planning issues.
Based on the enclosed documentation, we support Region V's conclusion that the State of Ohio's plans for the plume exposure emergency planning zone around the Davis-Besse Nuclear facility are adequate.
