Attachment to OCAN080306 Page 3 of 3 Fitness-for-Duty Program Six Month Performance Report January - June 2003 PROGRAM
SUMMARY
The Arkansas Nuclear One annual random testing rate is 50 percent. During this reporting period, approximately 28.6 percent of the population was randomly tested. The rate of positive tests from random testing was 0.0 percent.
POSITIVE RESULTS:
During this six month reporting period, 591 samples were collected and tested. One of these samples was confirmed positive for marijuana.
MANAGEMENT ACTIONS:
The individual who tested positive was a pre-access contractor who was denied access.
A for-cause test due to behavioral observations was administered and returned negative results.
EVENTS REPORTED TO THE NRC:
During this reporting period, there were no violations of the fitness-for-duty program that were reportable.
PROGRAM EVALUATION:
No programmatic problems were identified during this reporting period. ANO fitness-for-duty procedures were replaced by standardized Entergy procedures.
