PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS THE DRAFT SUPPLEMENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT FOR VIRGIL C. SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION To Whom It May Concern:

There will be a public meeting on Tuesday, August 26, 2003, at the Whitehall AME Church Fellowship Room to discuss the preliminary findings of the environmental review for the license renewal application for V.C. Summer. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff will hold two similar meetings beginning at 1:30 in the afternoon and 7:00 in the evening. Each meeting will be preceded by a 1-hour open house where NRC staff members will answer questions and provide information about the environmental review.
