MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - CATEGORY ONE MEETING V. C. SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION 50-395
Dear Mr. Byrne:
This letter confirms the conversation between Mr. Ron Clary of your staff and Mr. Malcolm Widmann of this office on August 5, 2003, concerning an informational meeting (Category One public meeting) which has been scheduled for September 18, 2003, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
(EDT). The purpose of the meeting is for your staff to discuss major activities for the upcoming refuel outage, current issues, and management changes. The location of the meeting will be at the Region II Office, Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center, 61 Forsyth Street, S.W., Atlanta, Georgia, in Suite 24T25. The meeting will be an open meeting in accordance with NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meeting, May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 102, pages 36920-36924).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
