FORTHCOMING MEETING WITH FLORIDA POWER AND LIGHT (FPL)

TO DISCUSS INCREASED STEAM GENERATOR TUBE PLUGGING AND RELOAD METHODOLOGY AT ST. LUCIE UNIT 2 DATE & TIME: Wednesday, August 20, and Thursday, August 21, 2003 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

LOCATION: Westinghouse Site Offices 12300 Twinbrook Parkway, Suite 330 Rockville, Maryland 20852 PURPOSE: To discuss proposed license amendments to increase the St. Lucie Unit 2 steam generator tube plugging limit to 30 percent and to transition to the Westinghouse, WCAP-9272, reload methodology. These are pre-submittal discussions to identify the scope of information needed for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission review and approval. They are a continuation of discussions held at a public meeting on April 17, 2003 (ADAMS ML031080639).

CATEGORY:* This is a Category 1 Meeting. After initial discussions on Day 1, the meeting will be closed to the public because the staff has determined that the information is proprietary in nature. The public is invited to observe the open portion of this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC before the meeting is closed.
