MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT MANAGEMENT MEETING - CATEGORY ONE MEETING -TURKEY POINT NUCLEAR PLANT, DOCKET NOS. 50-250 AND 50-251

Dear Mr. Stall:

This letter confirms the conversation between Mr. Walter Parker of your staff and Mr. Son Ninh of the NRC staff on July 17, 2003, concerning a management meeting (Category One) which is scheduled for August 5, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. (EST). The purpose of the meeting is to discuss site security issues, and is being conducted at your request. The location of the meeting will be at the Region II Office, Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center, 61 Forsyth Street, S.W., Atlanta, Georgia, in Suite 24T20. The meeting will be a closed meeting in accordance with NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meetings, May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 102, 36920-36924) in that Safeguards Information will be discussed.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
