MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - CATEGORY ONE MEETING V. C. SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION 50-395
Dear Mr. Byrne:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Al Paglia of your staff and Mr. Caudle Julian of this office on June 23, 2003, concerning an inspection exit meeting (Category One public meeting) which has been scheduled for August 22, 2003, beginning at 8:30 a.m. (EDT). The purpose of the meeting is for the NRC to present the results of the NRCs second inspection of the Summer Plant license renewal program to be conducted August 4 - 22, 2003. The location of the meeting will be at the V. C. Summer Nuclear Training Center, 1162 State Hwy 213, Jenkinsville, SC, in the V. C. Summer Nuclear Training Center Auditorium. The meeting will be an open meeting in accordance with NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC meeting, May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 102, 36920-36924).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
