CONFIRMATION OF INITIAL/REQUALIFICATION OPERATOR LICENSE EXAMINATIONS
Dear Mr. Cayia,
In a telephone conversation on June 17, 2003, between Mr. D. McNeil of my staff and Mr.
C. Sizemore, Point Beach Nuclear Generating Station Acting Training Manager, it was confirmed that Point Beach Nuclear Generating Station had no requests for initial license examinations for the calendar year 2004. Mr. McNeil and Mr. Sizemore also confirmed that the station is currently scheduled for a licensed operator requalification training program inspection (IP 71111.11B) the week of August 25, 2003.
During the conversation Mr. Sizemore stated that he would like to schedule an examination during the month of October 2005. Mr. McNeil advised him that he should send a written request to schedule the examination. If you have any questions concerning this information, please contact Mr. D. McNeil of my staff at 630-829-9737.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
